Miami Dermatology & Skin Care is a leading dermatology practice in Miami, Florida, dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care for adults with dermatological conditions. Led by board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist Carlos Ricotti, MD, the practice offers expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex skin conditions.

Practicing for more than 15 years, Dr. Ricotti is board-certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He has a special interest in combining all clinical and pathological information about each patient’s skin health to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Ricotti completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami in Florida, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he later served as a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology. He was also a staff physician for the University of Miami Hospitals Inpatient Dermatology Unit.  

In 2010, Dr. Ricotti launched Vitro Dermatopathology, a dermatopathology referral service in South Florida, which he currently directs and manages. Dr. Ricotti is also an active investigator in several clinical trials and has extensively published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and authored book chapters for dermatology texts.  

He is often invited to speak on dermatological conditions, like psoriasis, eczema, and acne, at local, national, and international medical conferences.

At Miami Dermatology & Skin Care, Dr. Ricotti specializes in comprehensive general dermatologic care, including skin cancer screenings, mole removal, and biopsies. The practice offers state-of-the-art treatments for rashes, hair loss, and other dermatological conditions. Dr. Ricotti works closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and concerns.
